In order to answer this question, I’d like to critically assess how the state is setting up schools’ policies on harassment prevention. The study, which was written with real-life examples to raise awareness about harassment prevention and to help parents learn about the role of education in bringing about safe, healthy students, was co-authored by the principal author and two professors of schools at the University of California, Irvine and Chatsworth University. The research published in this issue of Psychosocial Science appears to distinguish between teachers’ expectations of the institution that they are required to meet to be safe and healthy and the expectations of the institution that they are not required to meet to be healthy. I’m also interested in testing what kinds of education policies or institutions and policy makers should focus on since the study used to be published, where they refer to school policies. One thing that most is clear is that there are different policy and education approaches for schools. The more standardized the institution is to manage the problem, the better it (the school) would like to solve the problem first, so schools need to go over that first formula.
