Although they have a wide range of operations (e.g., fire, police, the police), as well as the active use of the community\’s resources by community-based mental health service (CBMHS), they have one big purpose: The prevention and control of attacks using the community\’s resources. The aim of this exercise was to explore the existence of some, although not all, elements of this phenomenon which may be linked with an increased likelihood of community policing. This paper provides a follow-up attempt and analysis of the case studies, by using a combination of new research, original interviews and more recent research on the community policing issue, as well as interviews with those involved in managing changes in the status quo and community policing. Because of these results, our analysis would be used to inform national and international discussion about community policing in a very fair way, and would also be used to provide further evaluation for future studies.
